How to enter a MX Record in my domain

Hello, I just added the gmail mx records, my question is: is that the only thing I have to do in order to start receiving my mails?

    For Google Apps? Yes. This and configure your domain on Google’s side.

    To send e-mail effectively, you also need to add SPF and DKIM records. See Google’s docs for this: SPF, DKIM.
