Hi all,

I installed VPS with Ubuntu 12:04 32bit & Virtualmin panel. I installed Roundcube webmail at http://domain.com/roundcube. How to receive mail in the domain mail.domain.com?

Hi Pablo,

Thank you very much. I have solved the problem.

In Webmin, i create a virtual host that allows domain: mail.domain.com pointing to the Roundcube directory.

Thank you for your help again.

What happens when you try sending or receiving a test email? It’s my understanding that a standard install of Virtualmin sets up a Dovecot server, which allows users to access email via IMAP or POP3 from desktop clients or mobile devices.

Hi Pablo,

I registered the domain name at Godaddy. I installed the address Nameservers: NS1.DIGITALOCEAN.COM
NS2.DIGITALOCEAN.COM
NS3.DIGITALOCEAN.COM

No MX records to set at Godaddy. I installed Virtualmin as default: https://www.digitalocean.com/community/articles/how-to-install-and-utilize-virtualmin-on-a-vps

The
MX record
looks correct. At your registrar, did you assign DigitalOcean’s nameserver’s to your domain? In Webmin, do you have an (i.) SMTP and (ii.) IMAP or POP module installed?

Hi Pablo,

This is my DNS configuration.
http://i45.photobucket.com/albums/f72/hxt57/downsvn-dns_zps0f4f8fd0.jpg

Please tell me how to fix it if I did wrong. Thanks!

Have you set up MX records?
