Question

HOW TO Send-Only email configuration on Ubuntu 12.04.?

Hi to all, so here is my problem. I am using a Ubuntu droplet, and have installed a script that need the ability to send emails. There is also a contact form. The problem I’m facing is that I’m stacked because I have setted to receive and send emails through Microsoft “domains.live.com” because of spam, so the only option that I need is the ability to send emails to, per example, new customers to confirm their email addresses, or to send emails from the contact form on the site to my email on domains.live.com. Did anyone have any idea how to fix this? I have installed successfully postfix, but now I don’t know what to do. Thank you in advance.

I’ve also spent hours going through the “tutorials”, but nothing seems to work. Now I trying to configure my droplet to send emails using msmtp via Gmail, but the authentication is failing. There really needs to a be a simple, step-by-step guide to setting up a simple email send capability.
