Question

I created a new droplet for wordpress and the site can't be reached

I’m new here.

I created a new droplet for wordpress and elected to use the password sent to my email. The email came and it has an ip address and a password. When I paste the ip address into my browser the page fails to load. Is there something I did wrong in the setup?

The website won’t work until you’ve logged in via SSH to activate the website. Then the Wordpress setup will be available at the IP address. So login via the terminal (PuTTY or Digitalocean Access tab in droplet control panel), change the password using the onscreen steps, then try going to the ip in your browser.
