I need help on migrating my wordpress blog to digitalocean

OK I understand now. Please what is the RAM Size of Digital ocean droplet. I need a RAM size of 8GB for my blog www.newsng.org. Please send me the direct link to make order of this config.

Digital Ocean will not directly assist with this.

With that said, people here (like myself) will gladly give you pointers. First off:

• backup your database.
• backup your files (including the .htaccess file)
• copy your files to the new server.
• make sure you have apache or nginx installed
• make sure you have PHP installed
• make sure you have MariaDB or MySQL installed

If any of these steps give you issues, you can follow this (this one for CentOS) guide or reply to this comment, and I’ll be glad to offer more advice.

Ok I get you now. I want to order Digital Ocean VPS. I want to their if their VPS comes with Linux based because I am used to Cpanel. When I logged in to their platform. I saw droplet and I do not under stand what droplet means. Its so confusing as their site doesnt come with enough information about how their VPS works and the features. In addition to my question, I dont know how to install apache and all that. I just wish someone could just help me straight away and do everything.
