Heya,

You can create a snapshot of your droplet and then transfer the droplet to another region. By default, a Droplet snapshot is only available in the region where it was created. If you want to use a snapshot to create Droplets in other regions, you need to add the snapshot to those regions first. It doesn’t cost more to add a snapshot to more regions.

Hope that this helps!

Heya,

You can use the Snapshot feature to do that! Check that link over here:

https://docs.digitalocean.com/products/snapshots/how-to/change-regions/

With that being said, make sure the Droplet you create for the snapshot uses the same resources.

Hey!

Yep, you can take a Snapshot of your Droplet and then transfer that snapshot to another region by following the steps here:

https://docs.digitalocean.com/products/snapshots/how-to/change-regions/

After the snapshot is available in the new region, you can re-create your Droplet there.
