Yes, digitalOcean provides a very safe environment for cloud server hosting and it does not deletes it’s users data just like that. If someone’s data is deleted then their will be a very strong reason behind it. I have been using digitalOcean cloud server from quite a time and i have been enjoying it’s service since then and moreover it’s prices are very affordable in comparison with some big names like AWS and Google Cloud. I am not a techie guy. So, it was nearly impossible for me to handle the server on my own and only have time to either maintain my bog or the server and for that purpose I went to the third party solution provider, Cloudways as they are the partners of DigitalOcean and provide managed cloud servers. So, if someone has any issue with digitalOcean’s platforms than one can get the digitalOcean managed server through Cloudways.

Hey friend!

I think we’re safe for hosting, but I’ll grant that my opinion is likely to contain some bias. All I can really say here on the subject in question is that we do not delete customer data for no reason. I can, however, give a hypothetical example of a reason why someone might be asked to leave our platform:

Let’s say that someone signs up with multiple accounts, using fake identities and credit cards that can never be charged, to abuse promotions that were intended for new customers (deleting the account and creating a new one under a new identity each time the promotion ran out). This is one reason that someone might be encouraged to leave our platform.

If you intend to enter into an actual mutual relationship with DigitalOcean, as a customer and service provider, you have nothing to fear in our attempt to remove abusive users from our platform.

Kind Regards, Jarland Donnell
