Question

Magento Hosting

  • Posted February 12, 2013

I’d like to know if your servers are suitable for running Magento. I would assume being a Cloud VPS instance that this would be no problem, but is anyone currently hosting Magento on your servers? I would be interested to know if it works, as there would be a huge market for servers at the $80 price point with those $80 per month specs.

Hello, all

Magento 2 is also available as a third-party application in our marketplace. You can find more information here:

Hope that this helps! Regards, Alex

Do u guys know a company that is able to set it up?

If you run into performance issues or just want to plan ahead for a bit of extra traffic splitting up your DB to a separate database server is always a good idea and doesn’t require almost any additional work from a configuration perspective.

did you split up the roles for your Magento site? one server running apache, and the other running my-sql?

I’m running Magento on 2 servers here. One of em is a 5$ box, the other one a 10$ box. Both of them running smooth. Ofcourse you have to setup your services with optimized configs (Nginx, PHP-FPM, Varnish). <br> <br>
