Monitoring and scaling platform

Hello, For a website of mine i want to use digitalocean as a high availabilty platform. A cluster with a loadbalancers, webservers and database servers. To automate scaling of extra webserver nodes i searched around for some solutions. None brought me a good and affordable solution So i'm starting up a new project to monitor servers and to automate some things around it. Some features: - Monitoring (cloud)servers (ping, mysql performance, cpu, memory, disk space, etc.) - Alerts when indicators thresholds are reached (email, iphone & android app) - Actions on alerts (webhooks, digitalocean API calls) - Grouping of servers and specific alerts and actions for each group This way you could create, for example, an autoscaling group of webservers etc. Are people here interested in such a solution? Would you want to pay for this? For example 5$ a month for the first 10 servers. Regards, Wouter

In addition, what features do you want in such a solution?
we're also looking into building something like that for internal use, but if there is an existing service out there that works with DO, I'll be happy to try it out.
Good to hear. I'l keep you updated through this forum. Love hearing your ideas and suggestions if you have them!
Hi There,

our company is working on a solution like this, also with multicloud providers and many more features, we will be ready on the end of the month and present it at Cloud Global forum in UK. If you need more information, just follow us at
Yes. Well, there are solutions out there. I use new relic for most other projects. It's super easy to integrate with ruby apps. But it's too expensive for hobby projects after awhile.

Back to the point, I need one as easy to use for some wordpress sites I manage on DO. Make installation automated. $5 is affordable. I'll pay immediately. If you need people to do customer development on, ping me at @joshzteng (twitter) hope that helps..
