Moodle not send emails in new server (Digital Ocean)

I migrated my moodle from another server to DigitalOcean, however after migration, Moodle does not send any more emails.
Can anyone give me a hand?

DigitalOcean provides unmanaged VPS. If you have not even begun to troubleshoot your problem, it is difficult to help.

Make sure your mail server is configured properly.

  • My moodle is configuring and running, and to send outgoing e-mail I use Gmail's SMTP or SMTP then my domain, but the two do not work.

  • Are you seeing any errors? Are the messages bouncing or not being sent at all? Without an more information, it's hard to help...

Guys, thank you, but today I try again, and without making any changes, and everything was working.

Considering Moodle Version 3.6:

  1. Go to : Site administration > Development > Debugging
  2. Set: Debug email sending.

You will be able to find out what is wrong in your Moodle installation.

In my case, I had to open a DigitalOcean support ticket asking to open 587 port that is closed by default.

Now, my emails are being sent normally.
