Follow Exporting Your Database to export your database from WPEngine. The database should be called wp_sitename. Use the exported .sql file in place of backup_db.sql.gz in the migration article.
As for wp-content.zip, I couldn’t find a post on WPEngine’s website explaining how to export your files. If you’re having trouble finding that option in their control panel, try contacting them.
