Have you setup your SPF, DKIM, and DMARC DNS records yet?

by Pablo Carranza
A carefully tailored SPF record will reduce the likelihood of your domain name getting fraudulently spoofed and keep your messages from getting flagged as spam before they reach your recipients.

How can i setup themin CENTOS?

  • You don't. You create DNS records via the DO control panel in the networking tab. From there, pick the domain you want to modify.

    • So you mean SPF, DKIM, DMARC have alreasy installed. Then i have to change / add a DNS record? For ex. if my domain is example.com what should i do, or what should i add / change? Thank you.

      • If you didn't create them before, you would need to create your own SPF, DKIM, and DMARC records for your domain. Follow the links I had previously provided to get more information about forming the contents of those records. Use search on the upper right of this page for other hints on how to create them.

  1. Create your SPF Record using and SPF Generator
  2. Create your DMARC Record using a DMARC Generator 3) Then test everything using mailtester

Then report back - If you're having any issues.
