Whenever I type in my ip it takes me to Please log into your Droplet with SSH to configure the LAMP installation. Can this be fix?

Yes, what you need to do is SSH to your droplet and finish the LAMP installation and from there you should be able to see your website using your IP address.
Now to be completely sure, have you used any of the Marketplace Droplets? If so, have you configured it by following the steps explained there?
