My site is not loading with domain but is working with ip

ApacheDigitalOceanUbuntu 18.04

My site is loading with my ip, but is not working with domain. I have set up host configuration in apache, but still not working with domain.
I have also setup domain with registar(Godaddy).
IP:- 167.71.235.115
Domain name:- asmitanews.com
Can you help me to solve this?

Hi @asmitanewscom,

As I can see you’ve added digital ocean’s nameservers to your domain asmitanews.com :

Name Server: NS1.DIGITALOCEAN.COM
Name Server: NS2.DIGITALOCEAN.COM
Name Server: NS3.DIGITALOCEAN.COM

This means you’ll need to manage your DNS from Digital Ocean’s control panel. If you change the A record there to 167.71.235.115, everything will work perfectly.

    Thanks for the response!
    Somehow i am still not able to load my site with domain name.
    I changed A record, but still i am not able to see the site.

    Any other suggestions?

      Did you ever solve this? I am having a similar issue. Waited over 20 hours in case it was DNS but still nothing.

        Hi @MrVS,

        What NameServers are you using?

        Are you using DigitalOcean’s nameservers or another set of Nameservers. Depending on where your NS’s are you need to manage your DNS from there.

      Hi @asmitanewscom,

      Make sure you are using the correct Nameservers and making changes to your DNS where you should.

      Another thing is the DNS changes can take up to 24 hours to propagate.
