I followed steps given in https://www.digitalocean.com/community/tutorials/how-to-install-nagios-4-and-monitor-your-servers-on-ubuntu-16-04. After following all the steps , Nagios service is running but when i tried to open UI i got message as The requested URL /nagios was not found on this server

I believe that you have to enable the new Nagios Vhost that you’ve created. You could do that with:
sudo ln -s /etc/apache2/sites-available/nagios.conf /etc/apache2/sites-enabled/
Or:
a2ensite nagios
Then you need to do a quick Apache reload:
systemctl reload apache2
