NYC 2 Network problem ?

My NYC2 droplet seems to be behaving weirdly since the upgrade. I can't seem to pull from my git repo which is hosted on AMS droplet and requests from originating from my server to my subdomain which is on the same server times out. My domains and subdomains can all be accessed without any problems from my own laptop at home. It clearly seems to be a internal network configuration problem. It seems to have started since after the NYC2 network upgrade. There has been no changes to my setup at all before this problem started. I would greatly appreciate some insight into why this could be happening?

Some things weird here too.

One of the droplet does not communicate with the external world. I can access it via ssh and through the web (httpd), but the droplet cannot get data from outside. No wget, curl, rsync, etc. ping works. It also works with other droplets, both IP and private IP. ip6tables: Firewall is not running.

I would also be grateful for any hints.
My droplet can connect with anything outside the DO network. Wget, apt, git everything works fine. I only have a problem when sending request within the DO network.
Please do note that DigitalOcean has been upgrading New York 2's core routers and notifications have been set in your control panel.
Thanks Samuel, but the problem persists.

Have you contacted the support staff with a support ticket?
Yes, I've been waiting for more than nine hours since last ticket and no useful reply apart from trying a reboot.

The original notification said "There will be several short periods of high latency and packet loss
lasting 1-3 minutes", but the droplet has been unable to get external data for more than 16h.
After some additional fixes yesterday at NYC2, all droplets are fully functional now.

I hope your problem is solved too, Johny.

I can confirm that my original affected droplet is working again.
I just signed up for Digital Ocean and created my first droplet with the hope that DO is more reliable and faster than Godaddy VPS hosting.

Within 30 minutes of its creation, my droplet stopped responding (it is in NYC2)....

Not off to a good start here but I am hoping for the best. Please fix this issue.
