Permission denied, please try again when logging into droplet with ssh key

Posted on May 6, 2014

I followed the tutorial here:

https://www.digitalocean.com/community/articles/how-to-set-up-ssh-keys--2

I generated ssh public key on my home pc.

I added it to the ssh keys in dashboard.

I create a droplet with the ssh key.

I try to ssh to the droplet

it automatically tries to login as PC@123.12.12.131

I enter password and it says permission denied, please try again.

I have no way of sshing into the droplet.

I am stuck.
