Pointed my domain to ip vps!

I installed zpanel for my vps,then i pointed my domain to ip vps,but when i go to my domain,it directly bring me to zpanel admin. Why that? How can i install wordpress with it?

Hello,

Sorry I am too a newbie here but I would try to answer since I am also having a similar setup..

  1. You have to visit the control panel of domain registrant and point the name servers to DO.
  2. You have to add the domain in DO control panel. (DNS) Enter the needed NS and A records.
  3. Access your zPanel and add the domain there via create new domain. Make sure you check on the create new domain with new directory also.

Once domain, zPanel will create a directory structure under public folder for this domain. And that is there your wordpress files would be going.

Please allow 24 hours for the DNS to propagate before accessing the domain and starting the WordPress installation.

    I think,when i install zpanel,i had some errors,therefore when i pointed my domain to vps,it immediately send me to zpanel admin. I had installed vps and do it again. Thank u so much!

    Make sure you are doing it in a fresh droplet. zPanel should be installed on a fresh droplet..

    Secondly, run OS update before running the zPanel installation script..
