Yes I have ftp installed, I have zpanel. What happened is that I renamed my droplet and ftp stop working. I did update the etc/host and etc/hostname but still I can not get it to start.

Thank Sid

Have you installed and configured an FTP service on your droplet? None of our droplets come with a pre-installed FTP service but SFTP is available by default on port 22. On a new droplet you will need to connect via ssh at least once in order to replace your temporary password before making an SFTP connection.

Yes, I had ftp installed. I found my problem It was related to when I made a copy of my VM. I had to edit my host files.

There is one thing I still can not figure out is how to get wordpress multisite to work. The main site shows up but the sub-domains got to my zpanel page.

Thanks Sid
