Hello,
I have my domain through a third party and use digitalocean to host my website. Is it possible to create a subdomain or use DNS to redirect a “mumble.example.com” to my mumble server for use in the client?
(Mumble is a voice client similar to teamspeak or ventrilo).

Absolutely. If you point the subdomain to your mumble-server’s IP address by creating an A record for it you should be able to use the new subdomain directly in the mumble client. Your users will still need to specify the port if it is different from the default however.
