s3cmd sync include permissions

does anyone know if there is a way to include the acl when syncing?
using s3cmd sync … --acl-public does not seem to work

I’ve tested this in the past and I was able to set public permissions for all files at once by adding
--acl-public, and also similarly set metadata with--add-header(like--add-header=Cache-Control:max-age=86400):Do you get any errors when you try to do this with
sync?- Bobby

I’ve used this command in the past to make all the files inside a path public
