Set up Wordpress droplet and SSH'd but can't access wp-admin

Hi all I was completing the Wordpress installation and SSH’d into my machine to complete the installation but WP is still not visible and can’t access the wp-admin page. Does anyone have any idea as to why that could be the case? Thanks!

Hello there,

If you’re using the WordPress one-click installation app via our marketplace:

You can also check our article on How To Use the WordPress One-Click Install on DigitalOcean

This should help you to complete the installation and access your site and admin area

Hope that this helps!

Also, as mentioned already, if you are using a domain name rather than the server IP address, keep in mind that once you make a DNS change it could take up to 24-48 hours for the DNS cache to clear over the Globe before you could see the new records.

Hi @VasiliosSahinidisShrimp,

Have you pointed your Domain to your Droplet? I think that might be the reason behind the issues you are experiencing.

To check that ping your Domain and see if it resolves from the same IP that your Droplet is using.
