Setting up Sendgrid with Digitalocean / Rocket.chat

I get that SMTP is blocked on droplets and we are supposed to use SENDGRID. I have a Rocket.Chat droplet and Rocket.Chat needs to send email. I have a SENDGRID account but there zero directions on how to make this work and I have tried everything, including opening a ticket that was not answered. Any Ideas? I have read setup the sendgrid API for Rocket.Chat but no idea where to do that. HELP!
