Should I install zPanel before or after I install the Ioncube Loaders?

Posted on November 29, 2013

I have a Ubuntu 12.04 32 bit droplet that I’m planning on running a script that required the Ioncube Loaders to run. Should I install zPanel before or after I install the loaders onto the droplet? I didn’t install the LAMP stack yet.

just dont install zpanel

A more up to date tutorial, http://docs.zpanelcp.com/?node=24 You can skip the update of CentOS if you do a fresh droplet.

IMHO, you should not install zPanel at all. In doing so, you are:

1.) adding another layer of complexity;
2.) adding another possible point of failure;
3.) limiting your ability to have granular control over your cloud server (that is, if you rely on zPanel exclusively).

If you feel compelled, nevertheless, have you read How To Install and Configure ZPanel on an Ubuntu 12.04 VPS?
