Temporary lookup failure in postfix

I have installed postfix on my virtual machine and i have also added the IP address of my computer to allow relaying for my computer on postfix.

But when i try to send email it says “temporary lookup failure”

I have checked /etc/resolve.conf and it has google dns server and

I am unable to rectify what can be the issue.Can someone please help me.

What command are you running to send email? and what email address are you sending email to?

What does host output? Make sure you have the dns servers in /etc/resolv.conf and not /etc/resolve.conf
