Setting up the email server is a PITA on Linux… I followed this tutorial (up to the Horde installation - didn’t need that), and it worked for me: http://www.exratione.com/2012/05/a-mailserver-on-ubuntu-1204-postfix-dovecot-mysql/

Ditto, you would want a reliable smtp proxy to send out email or most of your mail you send will go to spam. There are currently multiple ways.

Google Business Apps : http://www.google.com/intl/en/enterprise/apps/business/ – used to be free now they charge $5 dollars/ user.

Microsoft Live: http://www.domains.live.com – this is still free. setup an account

Setup your email addresses using Google Apps: http://bit.ly/15TJIL6
Setup your email addresses using Windows Live: http://bit.ly/Z70cJJ

In fact, i have several domains, used by different users. Most of them are small ngo’s. All i’ve to do is to forward all the info@… to the users email.

Google allows only 20 domains, so i’m looking for a mailsserver to forward mail

If you’re looking to setup a dedicated server for this then might I suggest you don’t do that, and instead just pay Google $5 a month to use their apps service. It’s easier and more secure. http://google.com/a
