Unable to Access DigitalOcean Community Page on iOS Safari – Application Error

Posted on February 20, 2026

I’m unable to access the DigitalOcean Community page on my iPhone using Safari. Every time I try to open the page, it shows an “Application Error” message instead of loading the website.

Hi there,

Thanks for reporting this. I’ve shared this with the team so they can take a closer look.

In the meantime, you could try clearing Safari cache (Settings → Safari → Clear History and Website Data) or testing in a private tab to see if that helps.

Appreciate you flagging this.

Heya, @johndevz

On iPhone Safari, the most common causes are a corrupted cache entry, blocked cookies, or content blockers interfering with scripts.

Try this first:

Go to Settings → Safari → Clear History and Website Data, then reopen Safari and try again.

If it still fails, try opening the page in a Private tab. If it works there, the issue is almost certainly cached data or a content blocker.

Also check if you have any Safari extensions or content blockers enabled (ad blockers, DNS filters, etc.) and temporarily disable them for digitalocean.com.

If the page still shows “Application Error” after clearing cache and disabling blockers, test using another browser on iOS (like Chrome). If it works there, that confirms a Safari-specific issue.

If it fails across multiple browsers on mobile data and Wi-Fi, then it could be a regional edge/CDN issue, in which case it’s worth reporting with:

Your iOS version

Your Safari version

Whether it happens on Wi-Fi, cellular, or both

Approximate time of occurrence

Hope that this helps!

I also tested the site using Browserling to access Safari remotely, and I’m getting the exact same “Application Error” there as well.
