Unable to take snapshot on OpenLiteSpeed WordPress 5.2 on Ubuntu 18.04

I am trying to take a snapshot of an OpenLiteSpeed WordPress 5.2 on Ubuntu 18.04 server for the last 12 hours. I shut down the server (from the terminal).
Each time I try to take a snapshot, it just says “Sorry, something went wrong.”

I need to transfer this server image to a different account (DigitalOcean doesn’t let me change droplet admins) - but this issue isn’t letting me.

I opened a support ticket around 10-12 hours ago, but I haven’t received a response yet. Some help would be much appreciated!

@saunved Please provide us with the ticket number so that we can identify what is happening on your account. Looking forward to your response.

I resolved the issue. Apparently, it was because I hadn’t settled my previous month’s balance. DO’s error reporting needs to specify exactly what went wrong, if possible.

    • @saunved Thank you for the update. It sounds like your account was on hold for an overdue balance. This prevents Droplet destroy, power status changes, the creation of new Droplets, root password resets, and the making and restoration of snapshots etc.

Keep us posted if you need any further guidance on this and if there are additional questions or concerns please don’t hesitate to reply with them.
