Hi,
I have unfortunately used FileZilla before installing LAMP. So I got the “Error establishing a database connection” instead of being able to see the “It works!” page from Apache.
Should I continue installing LAMP with that error or should I delete my website from FileZilla before proceeding with LAMP installation?

It wont break anything. I would finish installing LAMP, you will need to add your database back onto the server.
