Hello I have installed virtualmin panel on centos, with domain1.com as the main domain. now after creating a virtual server for domain1.com when I visit the website domain.com it shows that “You don’t have permission to access / on this server.”
Please help me in getting this, after this I am going to setup ftp and email services, and this would be a step by step process for complete website setup. I have tried everything explained on DO tutorials, forum and other tuts on web, till now I have been only able to setup with cpanel… I have tried without control panel, with virtualmin, zpanel , ispconfig2 etc but was not able to setup any of these…
Any help is appreciated. Thanks

You could if you used Google’s SMTP server settings. I believe Gmail has a limit of 500 emails within 24 hours; and Google Apps is limited to 2,000 emails per day.
I have never used google apps, can you let me know whether I am able to send emails from my scripts through google apps and is there any limitations of no. of emails?
For sure. It’s simply a question of how robust of an e-mail program you want. I’d imagine that a lot of people outsource their email (like I do) to Google Apps–given that it’s relatively cheap @ approx. $5/user/mo.
Ok, But at least can I go for transactional emails from my server ?
If you’re going to be doing bulk e-mail you’re better off going through a service like MailChimp; so that you minimize the number of your e-mails going into recipients’ Junk Mail folders.
I was sending emails through my hosting provider, but it has some limitations. so thought of doing myself through the mail server.
thanks I will try these too now
What did you do for e-mail prior to signing up w/D.O.?
Yea, I would totally say: Dump the control panel and follow these: <br> <br>1.) <a href=“https://www.digitalocean.com/community/articles/how-to-install-wordpress-nginx-php-and-varnish-on-ubuntu-12-04”>How to Install Wordpress, Nginx, PHP, and Varnish on Ubuntu 12.04</a> <br> <br>2.) <a href=“https://www.digitalocean.com/community/questions/wordpress-email-notifications”>WordPress email notifications</a>
For your information my requirement would be <br>1) php <br>2) mysql <br>3) bulk email <br>4) heavy traffic <br>5) file uploads <br>6) phmyadmin <br>7) security <br> <br>Thanks <br>
I’m sure that you found a solution but this goes to anyone who could be encountering the same problem.
Just create an index.html file in /home/your_virtual_server_username/public_html folder
if that fails,
type the following command
