Hello,

By default the webserver TCP port 53 is open or closed?
It is unsafe to DNS TCP port 53 open?

Thank you.

Ports aren't really opened or closed - they just exist. There are no rules in place on a default droplet.

  • For example, if I install a panel (ispconfig, vestacp ..) and have my own DNS, I need to configure iptables port 53 TCP to accept?

You do not HAVE to if you don't want to. There are no rules in place on a default droplet.
