What about Atomic (Fedora, CentOS or RedHat) in addition to CoreOS?

  • Posted January 13, 2015

Is CoreOS the only docker-focused OS available? Can we expect the Atomic counterparts on the future (Fedora Atomic, CentOS Atomic or RedHat Atomic)?

This Snappy Ubuntu Core is a must have. I been getting more and more experience with Docker Containers, Linking, Volumes and Networking and after using Snappy Ubuntu Core, this is a must have. The way this is built and how it operates is going to be the norm over the next 10 years. Please add this to the one click. Thanks,

CoreOS is currently the only Docker-centric OS we provide. There is also an Ubuntu 14.04-based Docker “One-Click” application. It is simply the latest version of Docker pre-installed on a standard Ubuntu server image.
