I am setting up a new Droplet and noticed Ubuntu offers both LTS versions like 24.04 and interim releases in between. I always default to LTS out of habit but I do not actually understand the tradeoffs.
For a production server, is there ever a reason to use a non-LTS release? What am I giving up or gaining by sticking with LTS versus the newer interim versions?
