Heya,

The best way is to check what is listening on port 80 and 443, is it Apache or Nginx. Once you know which it is, you can check the configuration file of your website and in that configuration file you’ll see where the files for your website are stored.

To check what is listening on port 80 or 443, you can run

nestat -tulpen | grep 80

Now, if it says Apache, you can check the configuration file at

ls /etc/apache2/sites-available/

In there once you see the config file open it and inside you’ll see DocumentRoot, this is where you website files are stored at.

If you are using Nginx, it will be

ls /etc/nginx/sites-enabled/

Same thing there as well.

Hi there,

In addition to what KFSys mentioned already, if you are using the WordPress 1-click installation from the Marketplace here:

https://marketplace.digitalocean.com/apps/wordpress

The WordPress files by default will be at /var/www/html.

Hope that this helps!
