Why Digital Ocean support is so slow?

I am trying to set up my wordpress to send emails through SMTP with a server from another provider and on Saturday I discovered that Digital Ocean blocks ports 25 and 587.

When I sent a ticket asking to enable emails through SMTP they responded by asking me some questions regarding the purpose of sending emails through SMTP. I answered their questions and after more than 36 hours of having done, they still did not answer me. In my years of using web hosting services, something similar never happened to me. It is extremely slow.


More than 48 hs and still without response from support. That’s ridiculous. Linode… here I go!
