Is it possible to create a captive portal in my droplet?

  • Technically speaking yes, VPN would have to be there to connect your WiFi users to this droplet IP address to get login and authentication details..

But the entire process would be hell slow compare to a server on site..

Unless you have same company setting up WiFi hotspots in different physically isolated location, it doesn’t make sense to use Internet to host your Captive portal..

Even if you do, then also, make sure just the database is hosted offshore !!!

Thanks for you response. Do you have link or tutorials to do this?
I tried using the tutorials from wifidog, chillispot but no luck to get success.
Also, i tried to set up PPTP VPN still doesnt work properly.
I have only OpenVPN but it is limited to 2 concurrent users only. I need at least more than enough.
