Hello
I wonder how many cores does the cpu have regarding intel 2 Intel CPUs compared to 4vcpu or 4 cores in other sales models
Is the performance better for running webserver and database?

Heya,
“2 Intel CPUs” This usually means:
2 physical processor sockets on the motherboard.
Each CPU (socket) can have multiple cores.
But in hosting, this spec does NOT guarantee you get all the cores, just that the physical machine has them available. If you share the exact providers and plans you’re comparing, I’ll help you size them up.
Heya, @witawat57
If a VPS plan says “4 vCPU,” you’re getting 4 threads on shared physical hardware. It’s not the same as 4 full physical cores. Your performance depends on how much you share with other customers.
For running web servers and databases, dedicated physical cores generally give you better, more consistent performance than shared vCPUs. Shared vCPUs are fine for small to moderate websites. For busy databases or high traffic, having more dedicated cores is better because you don’t compete with other virtual servers.
