Hello, i am creating a website that will need to store 100’s of HD videos to play. If each video is 1gb, does that mean i can only store 40 videos through the $20 a month package?
If thats it then it will do for the short term, but in future when more videos are uploaded, when i get to the top package of 640 GB is that the maximum limit?

Correct, the storage in the package is what you get for the operating system + your files/videos etc.
“SSD Disk” refers to the amount of disk space allocated to your droplet.
So on a droplet with a 40 GB SSD disk, you would be able to store 40 GB of data, including the OS.
So if you buy the 640 GB SSD disk droplet (the $640/mo plan), you would get 640 GB of storage.
The other answers are correct in that this is the limit of disk space on your droplet (though you can resize to a larger plan at any time). That being said, we will be releasing a new feature to address just this issue in the near future and will be starting a closed beta soon.
