Account deactivated after registered

Hi, I just registered my account today, now it is deactivated after registered for no reason. I try to reactivate it by filling a contact form with being asked about my plan of using DO and my personal information, also I submit a support ticket and still now one response to me. So what is really going on here?

  • By the way, there is a reactivated link on the top of my droplets page, but it doesn’t work. It redirect the page to account_verification/edit but immediately return to my droplets page.

You will need to wait little for support to look at it. Usually it doesn’t took longer than 1 hour (actually you can get much faster).

This is nothing strange at all. It happens very rare, but sometimes DigitalOcean likes to verify are you real user. Don’t worry, you will have account soon.

Also it’s know to happen if your credit/debit card got rejected 2 times. Please note that debit cards are allowed only in selected geographies because of fraudulent sing ups. In that case, it’s recommend to use PayPal.
