Question

App and Db cluster on private network

I want to connect my App to a db cluster, in the app says NYC and the db cluster is on NYC1. Is it possible to connect to the cluster via private network? I have attached the db in the app but it’s not connecting, it only connects when I use the public address, please let me know.

Thanks

Hey @floatinglightseagreenmorel,

I don’t think that this is possible as of the time being but this is a Great idea, sounds like it’d be super useful!

The best thing to do to get your voice heard regarding this would be to head over to our Product Ideas board and post a new idea, including as much information as possible for what you’d like to see implemented.

What you can do at the moment is to use the public endpoint and then lock down the instance using the trusted sources:

Hope that helps!
