App Platform Bug - Cant set as a trusted source for Database Cluster

DigitalOcean Managed PostgreSQL Database

There is a bug in the new App Platform. If you use DigitalOcean Database Cluster, you cannot select an App Platform app as a trusted source. Pretty glaring oversite!

Hey,

The trusted sources in the managed database cluster won’t work as expected due to the dynamic nature of the App Platform and the unpredictable IP addresses your app instanced will be assigned. We do have plans on our roadmap that will allow connection to the managed database over VPC. There is no ETA when it will be available.
