We have a droplet running cPanel 108 under CloudLinux 7.9 and we receive a warning from cPanel that the support will end on the june 30 2024 and they encourage to upgrade to AlmaLinux 8. In their documentation, we can find a tutorial to migrate cPanel from one Server to another which have some requirements. How to Move All cPanel Accounts from One Server to Another | cPanel & WHM Documentation
First requirement is to be sure that the servers ip adresses are portable. Are they in your infra? Can we swap the public IP adresses between our Droplets?

Hi there,
IP addresses can not be transferred across Droplets unless you are using a reserved/floating IP address:

Hope that this helps!

Hello @simonlabbdeslauriers
If you need an IP address that you can reassign to different Droplets as needed, use a Reserved IP address. Reserved IP addresses allow you to retain an IPv4 address and assign it to resources as needed.
