Auto Droplet Reboot

Posted on October 1, 2025

Hi

I have tried doing this but no success as yet.

I want to reboot my droplets when they go down after 10 minutes, when system detects it is down. (WordPress Droplets)

I have looked into one or two, but it seem like some f the actions they did is not available under my DO control panel.

So, if anyone can help, I much appreciate it.

Regards

Ben

Heya, @behzaderfanian

You can use the power cycle option within your DigitalOcean account to reboot the droplet.

You can also use doctl to reboot the droplet using the API if you want to automate the process.

https://docs.digitalocean.com/reference/doctl/reference/compute/droplet-action/power-cycle/

Hope that this helps!

Thank you for your response. I am new to DO really and can not find my way round the dashboard achieve this. Is there a guide or steps to do this. I am not also sure there to place the command. I appreciate any help in advance.
