Can't connect Zabbix with Apache (Ubuntu server 18.04)

Posted on October 19, 2019

Hi, i’ve installed the LAMP stack and the Zabbix server from this guide but i have problems at “Step 3 — Configuring PHP for Zabbix”: the file “apache.conf” at /etc/zabbix/ doesn’t exist… And i can’t enter in http://zabbix_server_name/zabbix/ because “zabbix” directory don’t exist at /var/www/html (as temporary solution i go to zabbix web page with a symlink)… It seems like zabbix isn’t linked/configured to work with apache, but it’s a strange thing because i’ve done the entire guide perfectly (and many times with many checks)…

Versions:

  • Ubuntu server 18.04.2 LTS
  • PHP 7.2.19
  • MySQL 14.14
  • Zabbix 4.4-1 bionic
  • Apache 2.4.29

I need help please!

Hello, @Xenon032

If the the apache.conf file is missing you can simply create it and enter the php values in the file itself.

May I ask if everything else is working fine for you?

Regards, Alex
