Can't reach my site ... but through a VPN (different country) I does work ...

This may be a dumb question but still. I am creating droplets from the same snapshot. Then I am installing wordpress on them. Then I configured the DNS (such as always) and everything works.

Except for 1 droplet (which I installed EXACTLY THE SAME WAY as the rest).

It’s my personal site :

When I connect through a VPN and come through a different country than my location (Netherlands) it DOES work. But without a VPN, it doesn’t. And all this while the rest of the sites have no problem !

What am I missing here ?

It’s working for me. Location: UK

That’s the thing . It works from anywhere other than where I am (which is the netherlands) …

And it works from my mobile as well … same IPS … same wireless network… But I cannot access the site from my laptop.... (only through a VPN on my laptop) …

Can’t make sense of this …

  • Can you ping it? Or do a traceroute on it? How long did you wait before checking the DNS again?
I’m from the Netherlands and I can succesfully visit the website.

Thanks for your reply … Once I switched my DNS to cloudflare, the problem was immediately gone … So i probably has something to do with digitalocan dns …
