Complete packet loss from my droplet to another server

I’m trying to reach another server from my droplet but I am seeing 100% packet loss to it. I can reach that server from other systems, just not from my droplet. How do I resolve this?

In this case it sounds like your options may be limited on this side. If inbound/outbound traffic from your droplet is working, but only failing to one end-point, there are only two scenarios that are highly likely:

  1. The server you are trying to reach has been blocked in your outbound firewall. This may help you to manage your firewall:

  2. You have been blocked by the admin of the other server. In this case, you may need to reach out to them and ask why.


This happened to me too in 2-3 days ago.

I used Digital Ocean for 6 month and no issue found.

But 2-3 days ago network look bad it’s slowest connection ever and freeze every 5-10 seconds.
