Hi -
I’ve created a new Droplet, using an SSH key that I generated via PuTTyGen, and I created my server using the public key. When I try to connect using PuTTy, and including my private key (on usernames root, and forge) I get the error:
Server refused our key
I’m assuming I’m missing the private keys on my server but, how am I supposed to connect to put them there if I can’t connect in the first place? Very confused!

Solved it, for anyone else, it’s because PuTTyGen provides you with the public key in the wrong format. You need to copy paste the public key from PuTTyGen itself, rather than the contents on the public key file.
