Question

Connection Digital Ocean to corporate network

Hello, Does Digital Ocean have something comparable to Amazon’s VPC (Virtual Private Cloud). Our deployment on Digital Ocean needs to access some resources in the company network. What would be the recommend way to do this.

We are using the Digital Ocean API to create droplets on the fly. So the ideal solution would need to be fully automated via the API.

Thanks

Unfortunately we do not support that. As Pablo suggested, you can set up an OpenVPN server and use that to connect your droplets securely.

VPDC is different than Salt cloud. I believe DO does not have Advance networking in Place to provide Virtual Private Cloud Account i.e using virtual router to every customer. <br> <br>Amazon, Rack Space and Weatherlycloud support these options

Check out Salt Cloud (<a href=“https://www.digitalocean.com/community/articles/automated-provisioning-of-digitalocean-cloud-servers-with-salt-cloud-on-ubuntu-12-04”>Automated Provisioning of DigitalOcean Cloud Servers with Salt Cloud on Ubuntu 12.04</a>) with an <a href=“”>OpenVPN Salt Formula | GitHub</a>.
