Connection Digital Ocean to corporate network

December 25, 2013 3k views
Hello, Does Digital Ocean have something comparable to Amazon's VPC (Virtual Private Cloud). Our deployment on Digital Ocean needs to access some resources in the company network. What would be the recommend way to do this. We are using the Digital Ocean API to create droplets on the fly. So the ideal solution would need to be fully automated via the API. Thanks

I'm not sure what Amazon VPC is -- is it a private network dedicated to your instances?

This tutorial aims to provide the reader with a simplified, basic setup of an operable Salt Cloud master server. Users can then use this employ to automate the process of creating 1, 2 or a fleet of cloud servers.
VPDC is different than Salt cloud. I believe DO does not have Advance networking in Place to provide Virtual Private Cloud Account i.e using virtual router to every customer.

Amazon, Rack Space and Weatherlycloud support these options
Unfortunately we do not support that. As Pablo suggested, you can set up an OpenVPN server and use that to connect your droplets securely.
