Currently, I am using the free credit on trial. I intend to host my website on a server and am now using the free credit. But as soon as my trial ends, I need to purchase the following system 2 vCPUs 4GB / 120GB Disk ($32/mo). My question is, how can I know if this configuration is enough for my server load? Like, how many users can be handled by this configuration simultaneously? And later, if I need to change, can I upgrade to another configuration?

Hi there,
Good question! The short answer is, it depends on your app’s resource usage (CPU, memory, database, etc).
A 2vCPU/4GB Droplet can usually handle a decent amount of traffic for lightweight sites, but exact user capacity depends on what your site does.
Best approach: monitor usage during the trial using DigitalOcean’s monitoring tools. If CPU or memory gets close to 100% under load, you’ll know it’s time to scale:
And yes, you can upgrade later to a bigger Droplet anytime through the control panel:

Heya, @mobasshiraakter
The performance largely depends on your app’s specific resource usage. For a lightweight website, a 2vCPU/4GB Droplet should handle moderate traffic well. However, as you mentioned, monitoring usage during your trial period is key.
You can use DigitalOcean’s monitoring tools to track CPU and memory usage. If you see consistent high usage near the limits, it’s a sign that it’s time to scale up.
And the great thing is, upgrading to a larger droplet is super easy through the control panel at any time, so you can adjust as needed.
