Hello Digital Ocean Community,
I am looking for the best community decided method of deploying a PHP Application. My first choice was through Heroku, but then the realization of the lack of features (that I need) was evident. I then came across Nanobox which offers exactly what Heroku does, but with more features, higher level of customization and services.
However, I would like the opinion of the community for deploying a PHP Application (built on slim framework). Whether the option of going through a third-party like Nanobox is recommended, or if by doing it through a specific method with Digital Ocean.
Regards, Travis

Hi @thefiveosix,
This might sound pretty outdated and lacking features but I prefer using tools such as git/gitlab/svn. It has everything you need, it has a repo from which you can actually clone it, it has version control, branches, masters, the ability to revert changes you’ve made.
To summarize, using git for me has no alternatives, it provides everything you’ll need in this instance.
Regards, KDSys
